OK, I have to say I was a little afraid to read this book. After reading 'Branded' and seeing the way Jessica and Alex's love blossomed and then to hear that they were having issues in this books, well it made me not want to read it. I am a true fan of a great love story and I didn't want to be depressed. Having said that, I wasn't depressed at all. I though the book was GREAT and I am very excited for the 3rd. I am not going to tell you any of the story, but lets just say it went exactly were I wanted it to go and it left me yearning for more. I am excited to read more of Keary Taylors books and look forward to the 3rd book in the Fall of Angels series.Product details

Forsaken Fall of Angels Book 2 eBook Keary Taylor Reviews
Because this is the middle book in the series, I find it difficult and often get pissed off at all the drama the characters must go through. This is like the "hurdle" period when all the characters must go through the trials and tribulations of the series in order to get to the main point or turning point of the story. It is so much detail, and shifts in what is going on that you kind of feel bad for the main characters who want nothing more than to just be with each other. Sacrifices made and the consequences of them are displayed. Overall you MUST buy the complete series to understand what I mean
I have fallen in love with your series. I am not a religious person but your plot is Very unique and awesome and they love moral and just lives yet its not about God but about being a good person. I loved that sentiment!! I had not seen two people act good just for sheer sale of being in good in a book in a long time!! If you're extremely finicky with spelling then don't read. She uses words like shear instead of sheer and misuses the spellings of words. It just is simple mistakes that if you're into the story don't seem an issue!! Can't wait to read Vindicated!!
I devoured the first book and this one was no different. The characters struggle and fight, and yes the same fight keeps coming up, but I could relate to it. Couples seem to be able to end a little argument even without overall resolution until something happens to achieve final resolution. It didn't seem to hinder the plot or take away from the characters. The continuation of the story was not repetitive (like with some series I've read where it seems the plot it redone with slight variations) and it was great to see Cole grow in this story. I've really enjoyed these books and if you liked the first one you will like this one as well.
First the positives, the character development is great. You really feel the changes they all go through especially Jessica and the dark angel Cole. Nothing is left unsaid to make the series move along.
The one thing I didn't like was that most of the book was spent on rehashing the conflicting emotions between Jessica and Alex. But when I got to the end it all made sense and I can understand why it had to be written that way.
Note, you must read these book in the proper. It won't make sense to you if you don't. Enjoy!
Alex died to protect Jessica but has come back as a fallen angel to be with her. But things are different Alex is more careful with her and stays away from her more. She cannot understand what is wrong. She is also having problems that she cannot understand, one of which is she is not hurt easily and heals very quickly. Cole will not leave her alone, he follows her everywhere she goes, even when she sleeps. What will happen with Cole is to be seen but she knows they are safe as long as he is running around free.
I happen to pick up Branded by chance one day. I thought, "What the heck, I'll give it a try." I finished it in one day and loved it so much that I decided to pick up Forsaken. I had to hold off on reading it due to my mother-wife responsibilities. The next day, I came home and didn't go to bed until I had finished reading it.
Forsaken picked up where Branded left off. I was moved by what Aled did for Jessica. I enjoed that we were able to learn more about Cole, and in a weird way, I kind of fell for him. Yes, sometimes i cheer for the big bad evil one. Sorry. Can't help it. I did hate that all Jessica ever wanted was to marry Alex, and that he would refuse. What bothered me even more was when her sister got engaged to Alex's best friend. I loved the LOVE that Alex and Jessica shared.
Keary Taylor opened my mind and my interest to more in the paranormal genre to other than vampires. Yes, I'm a sucker for vampires as well. I can't wait for Vindicated to be released. I am anxiously waiting...
This is another good book by this author. i didnt like it quite as well as the first one but i liked the first one so much it hardly matters.

In the first book the author takes the angel theme to a whole different level with the insight we get through Jessica's nightmares. I have to admit it was the fact of her nightmares that made me want to read the book cause i can relate altho not to the same degree.
The second book brings some unexpected challenges for Jessica and her world. I like that she grows as a character toward the end when Cole shakes her up. It was exactly what she needed to hear. And we as the audience needed someone to tell her those things!
There are a lot of minor editing changes that should be made. most of them are simple and just need a fresh pair of eyes.
The ending wasnt abrupt but I wish it wouldve given a bit more info on how she is going to solve the problem with Alex. I sure hope there is going to be a third book cause I'm really curious to see how Jessica does it!
